Mediterranean

Mediterranean Sea Salt is harvested in the South of Italy, where they have been producing salt since 200 B.C. It is naturally high in magnesium, which acts as a natural anti-caking agent; however, this very high quality salt is 100% natural and contains no additives of any kind. Best paired with meats, seafood, sauces/soups, and can be used as beverage rimmer.

Sel de Mar or Fleur de Sel?

Sea Salt is often known for its coarse texture and then a salt mill is used to grind it to a fine grind. However, is Mediterranean Salt the same as Fleur de Sel because they are both white and considered a finishing salt? White coarse sea salt can be purchase from a variety of countries. While their look is similar, Fleur de Sel is usually a smaller, finer grain and is generally associated with desserts.
